Everyone, and every business, has a story. Lightpath Leadership’s is closely connected to her founder’s, Irene Öhler.
Irene arrived in Vietnam in 2012, after 15 years of international experience in leadership development.
One of the first things she noticed were the remarkable women of Vietnam. She kept meeting accomplished women, in both formal and informal leadership positions. Irene was fascinated and knew she had found a huge treasure still ‘undiscovered’.
Fast forward to 2019, Irene has contributed to uncovering this treasure of lived leadership experience and sharing it with the world: In 2016 she co-authored an awarded Book, Ba Trieu’s 21st Century Daughters, on remarkable Vietnamese women leaders; in 2014 she co-founded the live event series, the Women’s Storytelling Salon, and has become a sought after expert on the topic of women in leadership.
In 2016 Irene’s family made the big decision to stay on in Vietnam, to be a part of the country’s exciting growth story. They set up a business, Lightpath Consulting Group, specialising in one of the hottest topics in Vietnam: international education.
2019 then saw the birth of Lightpath Leadership, which combines Irene’s deep experience in executive coaching, intercultural consulting, the power of storytelling and her personal mission of creating impact by developing authentic leaders.
As part of this, Lightpath Leadership is now offering cutting edge international women leadership programs tailored to the Vietnamese context.

Irene has more than 20 years of international experience in talent development, having worked with Fortune 500 corporates and governments in Europe, China, Brazil, New Zealand and Vietnam as an executive coach and consultant.
Her mission is to unleash individual’s leadership and support organisations to nurture the talent needed to tackle our complex leadership challenges.
