ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Irene Öhler, the founder of LightPath Leadership, has more than 20 years of international experience in leadership development, having worked with Fortune 500 corporates and governments in Europe, China, Brazil, New Zealand and Vietnam as an executive coach and consultant.
Irene has focused on women leadership in Vietnam since 2012. She co-authored the award-winning book Ba Trieu's 21st Century Daughters. Stories of Remarkable Vietnamese Women, founded the live event series, the Women's Storytelling Salon, which runs in HCMC and Hanoi, and is a sought after speaker on the topic of women empowerment and leadership in Vietnam.
In 2022 Irene was honored to be recognized as one of “Asia's Top 10 Executive Coaches”
by Asia Business Outlook.

The Women's Storytelling Salon is a live event series founded by Irene Ohler and Nandini Ooman in 2014 in Hanoi and now running in Hanoi, Saigon and in Washington D.C. by Nandini.
At the Salons in Vietnam we showcase and celebrate women's diverse paths and spark connections and inspiration through Storytelling.
Our Salon Community has been growing and growing, in numbers as well as in diversity in professional backgrounds, nationalities and generations, making it a unique place for Connection, Conversations, Celebration of women’s achievement, and Inspiration.
Since 2014 we’ve had 29 Salons in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City, each with 2 inspiring storytellers from different fields sharing their different perspectives on a theme, and their stories of triumphs and trials on their path.
*We use an inclusive definition of "women". Everyone identifying as a woman is welcome to the Salons.
